A partner is not always needed, but you will have to take it in turns with any spare
people that may turn up on the night.
2 Do I need dance shoes?
Dance shoes are not necessary to start with, just wear shoes that are comfortable,
but not trainers (or anything with rubber soles) as you will stick to the floor with these on.
3 What shall I wear?
There is no dress code, just wear whatever clothes you feel comfortable in. Best for ladies not to wear a tight skirt as you need freedom of movement.
4 Will there be opportunities for 1:1 help?
There will be some opportunities for 1:1 help, but these are
minimal, due to the number of people in the class.
5 Will we be learning dance figures that are commonly known?
Yes I always use commonly known figures
to start with, but there are also times when I will choreograph a set of figures to make the dances more
interesting.
